In a month’s time, Executive Head of New Business Development for the first Equity Insurance Group Andre du Toit will be taking on the Rhino Peak Challenge, with a goal of raising R50 000 for rangers and the conservation of endangered species.

From today until race day on 5 October, all Ranger Protect donations will support Rangers in reserves linked to the Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT), Wildlife ACT and Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife.

“We want to raise awareness for the work that EWT / Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and Wildlife ACT do and in particular raise funds to support the men and women rangers through #RangerProtect as they are the frontline to combating crime against wildlife as well as key individuals driving the protection of our wilderness areas.” Andre du Toit

“The Rhino Peak Challenge is all about bringing passionate people together to support a common objective – the conservation of endangered species which are key indicators of healthy ecosystems.

“It is great that Andre has joined the challenge this year, raising the profile of the event and bringing in another key partner to support the rangers that work at the coal face to protect our national heritage.”
